5th Grasshopper Peak Redwoods Run

Thank you to everyone who ran and helped at this year, the fifth edition of the Grasshopper Peak Redwoods Run. I'm so proud of this race and truly hope everyone enjoyed the day. Of course, I couldn't pull it off without an army of volunteers by my side.

 

Thank you to Adam, Lanore, Matthew, and Rachel for helping me scout out and mark the course. All this is done on foot and we cover close to 100 miles on the course by race morning. Having help with that leg work is fantastic!

 

Thank you to everyone who worked on the course, taking split times and feeding the runners while swatting away mosquitoes: Lanore, Gary, Adam, Libre, Jurgen, Bob P, Nikki, Barry, and Bryan.

Finally, I'd like my husband Matthew for organizing all the volunteers, sanding the awards, and jumping in to help whenever and wherever was needed. Somehow he managed to save enough energy to run a course PR and finish in second place in the 30K.
