Hammond Trail 5K & Half-Marathon

Thank you to all who came out and ran on a wonderful, running day.

Both the ˝ marathon course and the 5K course were quite accurately marked. Yoshi meticulously measured 5K course twice – THANK YOU!

 

BIG BIG “Thank You” goes to Rachel Cardoza, Mj Goble, Jamie Hinckley, Harry Kavich, Matt & Karen Kidwell, Paul & Carla Kraus, Barry & Myrna Milender, Gary Timek, Yoshi Uemura, and Ken Yanosko, for so many kinds of help including bringing (and returning) tables, chairs, timing clock, traffic signs and other equipment, obtaining needed permits, collecting tags in order, timing, recording, organizing tags neatly, cutting fruits, setting them up neatly, collecting trash, measuring the whole course, taking care of paperwork, etc, etc; to Jason Lewis for providing McKinleyville HS runners and parents to distribute water & cheer to thirsty runners on the course (Joe Rider’s mom Deanne Rieder & Max’s dad Brian Combs, in particular), and most of all to all the runners, family and friends who cheered. Without all of your help and support, it would not have been possible. I have to wonder how I can ever pay you back properly – if you thought results were up quickly, credit goes to all the helpers. Big thanks also goes to the first time runners & new members. See you all again next year.
