Happy New Year! It was a glorious first day and race of
2018! The first annual Resolution
Run at the Eureka Waterfront Trail was well attended with just over 130
registered runners/walkers. The event was held under clear skies and cool
temperatures, perfect racing conditions. The weather, along with the flat, fast
5K course, enabled eight runners to break the 20:18
challenge. These runners ranged in age 15~70 years! Congratulations to Adam Vera M16, West Wood M15, Cedar Smith F36, Dave Ryan M60, Clay Lynch M39, Tami Beal F50, Kristal
Mendez F35, and John Zinselmeir M70 ~ truly amazing and inspiring!
There are so many wonderful people who
donated their time and resources to help make this race, which sprouted from a
long, group trail run of the last new year’s day, into
a reality.
