On behalf of James Washington and myself – We thank all of our volunteers who helped with this ‘perfect-running-weather-day’ event. We had some new volunteers, we’re always happy to get new volunteers. Thank you Jib Ray, David Turner, Gideon Turner! Hopefully, it was a fun experience, and you’ll think about volunteering again in the future. Please tell all your friends how rewarding it was!

Thanks to Sherry Myers, Jamie Hinckley, Catrina Howatt, & Sarah Sullens we registered 130 participants in 1hr & 45 min. Our participant total was 248 this year. We started the run 10 minutes late due to the long porta-potty line (not my fault!) but everyone was off and running at 9:40 am guided by our famous local cyclist and C/R coach, Reed Elmore.

All of the monitors on the course and the road closures were AHS volunteers coordinated by Davita McGoldrick & James. The usual suspects manned the finish Line – Gary Timek, Harry Kavich, & Yoshi Uemura, with Sherry & Jamie pulling tags. Also appreciated were volunteers who jumped in to help with anything - Randy Emenaker, Don Brubaker, & Marcile Raney. I hope I didn’t forget anyone - thank you all – you all made the event go smooth, and clean up was a breeze.

Very big thanks to Yoon, for posting the photos and times to the SRRC website before any of us even got home. Happy 4^Th of July, see you next year - same day, same time, same course, more popsicles, yea! -- Marlene
