- 14th Sun. {SRRC Race for Women} 40th Atalanta's Victory Run and Walk on Mother's Day. {Fees for all}
On Mother's Day Sunday. 2M and 5M at 10:00AM. Start and finish at the Arcata Co-op parking lot. This is a very festive event promoting women's running. The courses are very flat,
running in the Arcata Bottoms, which makes them quite accessible.

5K Fun Run starts at NOON at Mad River Brewery (in Blue Lake CA). $10 (person); $35 (team of 4). Race day registration starts at 10:00 am.
Tickets are available at Low & Slow BBQ (101 Taylor Way, Blue Lake, CA) & Blue Lake City Hall.

- 3rd Sat. {*CANCELED this year, due to the condition of the route*}{SRRC Race} 9th Grasshopper Peak Redwoods Run. {Fees for all} 10.5M and 30K at 8AM.
Starts and finishes at the Grasshopper Trail/Bull Creek Road junction, about five miles west of Hwy 101 heading towards Honeydew
within Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Parking at Albee Campground. Both races are on very hilly trails. T-shirt guaranteed
if registered by May 1. Due to the remote nature of this race, participants are required to carry at least 20 oz. of water
between aid stations. Cups will not be provided on the course.

Prairie 2M / 6.1M. {$10 for nonmembers, free for SRRC members} 2M and 6.1M at 10AM. (No walkers for 6.1M
Please.) Please show up AT LEAST 20~30 MINUTES early to register. Start and finish at the north parking lot of the Clam Beach Frontage Road. 10K has scenic views, a tough hill in the first mile,
and a flat-fast last mile. The 2M goes along the Frontage Road.

{$10 age 11 & up; $5 age 10 & down} 10:00AM, at James Washington Track (i.e., Arcata HS track).
The second James Washington Birthday Dash! This is a continuing effort to secure much-needed bleachers & equipment for student athletes.
On-site registration & packet pick-up on the James Washington Track can be done before the race (Sun., 8:30~10am on 8/06/23).

Adult sprint tri and duathlon start 8:00 at Fred Endert Municipal pool. Adult relays and adult teams encouraged. Kids ages 5-12 start 11:00 with distances varying by age groups.
Beautiful flat bike and run courses along the ocean. Starts at Fred Endert Community Pool, 1000 Play Street.
Adult tri $40 age 13-19 and $55 over age 20. $40 adult duathlon, $35 per person adult teams. $20 kids. Late fees (+$5 or +$10) after July 23rd.

Start and finish at the Bear River Rancheria Recreation Center (in Loleta). Funds raised through this event provide funding for fully-trained seizure-response dogs, life-saving movement monitors for those in need and grant wish trips to Epilepsy Awareness Educational Expo and Day at Disneyland.

{$10 for nonmembers, free for SRRC members}
{USATF certified course} 2M at 9:30AM and 4M at 10AM.
Registration at 8:00~9:15AM. Start and finish at the Mad River Fish Hatchery.
Registration will take place at the parking lot of the Mad River Fish Hatchery in Blue Lake, at the end of Hatchery Road.
There is plenty of parking in the Hatchery parking lot, as well as on Hatchery Road. However, the parking lot will be closed to vehicles entering/exiting 9:00~10:30AM, please arrive early, or park on Hatchery Road and walk in.
Hatchery Road will also have some areas designated as no-parking, please comply with all posted signage.
