- 1st Mon. {SRRC Race} Resolution Run at the Eureka Waterfront Trail. {$5 for nonmembers, free for SRRC members}
Start at 10AM. 5K Start and finish at the Del Norte Street Pier parking lot (foot of Del Norte Street in Eureka along the Bay).
The race will head south along the Waterfront Trail to the Hikshari’ Trail and back.
{20:18 Challenge!}Run 20:18 or faster and receive a special commemorative award. Only SRRC members will be eligible & awards will be presented at the annual club party!

- 13th Sat. {SRRC Race} 47th Patrick's Point Run. {$5 for nonmembers, free for SRRC members} 5K and 10K at 10AM. Start and
finish near the entrance to Patrick's Point State Park, north of Trinidad.
The club's first running event, this is a beautiful run through the park. Carpooling for this event is strongly encouraged because there
will be a $8 fee per vehicle! Also, one of the trails is being rebuilt and is unusable, so a new course will be used for this year.

the year 2017 at the Bayside Community Hall (formerly Grange; 2297 Jacoby Creek Rd, Bayside, CA), 4-6PM. Pizza & drink will be provided. Everyone is welcome.
- 26th Fri. {not SRRC Race} Community Walk & Observation along Hatchery Road. {Free for all}Starting at THE LOGGER (510 Railroad Ave. in Blue Lake) at 8:30AM (~11:00AM).
Walk along the Hatchery Road, then give your input about how to improve safety for walking, running & biking along the Hactchery Road. Coffee, tea & snacks will be provided. This is part of the Hatchery Road Safety Project.

This is for all our wonderful women and their sidekicks. 2-mile Fun Run at 9:00 am & 4-mile Challenge at 9:30 am.
Start and finish at the Blue Lake Casino Parking Lot in Blue Lake, California. Same day registration available (add $5).
This race benefits McKinleyville Soroptimist. There will be a costume contest and a limited number of capes will be for sale at the race.

finish in downtown Ferndale. A wonderful family event, with prizes in school team divisions as well as age divisions.

- 17th Sat. {not SRRC Race} 1st Leprechaun Run. {includes T-shirt; $25 before 2/24/18; $40 on race day}5K at 9:00AM.
Fun run at the Southern Humboldt Community Park (934 Sprowl Creek Rd, Garberville, CA 95542) to support the track program of local schools. It runs through the Community Park trails and Camp Kimtu Road. Open to the community with the theme of St. Patrick’s Day and costumes are encouraged.
A leprechaun will be at the race and will chase the participants. There will be music, refreshments and vendors (?).

- 31st Sat. {SRRC Race} Arcata Community Forest 2M or 5.5M Run. {$5 for nonmembers, free for SRRC members}At 10AM. Start and finish near the
playground of the Arcata Redwood Park. The course is primarily dirt road and hilly, perfect for those asking for an off-pavement course among the redwoods.

- 4th Wed. {SRRC Race} Katherine McCaughey Memorial Run 5K. {Fees for all} At 9:30AM. Start and finish at the
Arcata Marsh by Klopp Lake. $10 for adults, $5 for 17 and under, proceeds go to the Katherine McCaughey Memorial Scholarship Fund (a scholarship fund for Arcata High School Track and Cross Country).
Race day registration is from 7:30-9:15 before the start. The course is 90% hard pack dirt trail
and 10% paved road. Parking is limited at the boat ramp parking area, so plan to park on I St and walk in if possible.

1/2M for kids at 7:30AM; 1/2 Marathon at 8:00AM; 10K at 8:10AM; 5K at 8:20AM; 5K walk at 8:30AM.
You can enjoy some of Northern California’s most spectacular scenery. It takes you along a magnificent course overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
For the first time in over 100 years, this unique stretch of the California Coast is open to the public. This event is offered in conjunction with the Grand Opening Celebration of the entire Coastal Trail hosted by the City of Fort Bragg. Proceeds benefit the Mendocino Coast Hospital Foundation.

- 18th Sat. {SRRC Race} Blue Lake 5K & 10K in partnership with the Blue Lake Parks & Recreation. {$5 for nonmembers,
free for SRRC members} 5K and 10K at 9:30AM. Start and finish at Perigot Park in Blue Lake. Please park along Railroad Avenue to the north of the park and walk through to the start/finish area.
Registration is at the start only so come a bit early to sign up. Both 5K and 10K share the same start and finish portions. The 10K route continues out Hatchery Road to the turn around at the Blue Lake Fish Hatchery, while the 5K turn around is located just past the Bridge on Hatchery Road.

Adult sprint tri and duathlon start 8:30 at pool. Adult relays and adult teams encouraged. Kids ages 5-12 start 11:00 with distances varying by age groups.
Beautiful flat bike and run courses along the ocean. Starts at Fred Endert Community Pool, 1000 Play Street.
Adult tri $40 age 13-18 and $55 over age 19. $40 adult duathlon, $35 per person adult teams. $20 kids. Late fees after July 31st.

- 15th Sat. {not SRRC Race} Trinidad Head Marathon or Other Distances. {Free for all}
Come join Mike Wood at Trinidad Head for this unofficial event. Most of us will be starting at 8AM, however, starting time and direction of course is your choice.
You also have the option to do as few or as many loops as you like. New course with each loop being 1 mile long. 250' of elevation gain per loop.
To do a full marathon, you need 26 loops (plus a small section). No aid and no awards.
